Ionic sign 10 year deal with Boeing
Ionic Systems Ltd are pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive 10 year supply agreement with Aviall (a Boeing company) for pure water cleaning solutions for airside aviation applications.
“Aviall is pleased to add Ionic Systems to our product portfolio as we continue to build and expand upon our growing capabilities in the aerospace industry,” said Aviall Managment. “We look forward to working closely with Ionic Systems to better connect the aerospace supply-chain in delivering its high-quality cleaning solutions to the marketplace.”
Ionic Systems launched the revolutionary Reach & Wash system in 1997. Since then, the Reach & Wash? system has become a trusted global brand and the industry standard for window cleaners all over the world. Ionic is the only manufacturer to be awarded the FMVSS-208 certification for its systems. It’s no exaggeration to say that Reach & Wash? has revolutionized the industry, by enabling window cleaners to reach higher, work faster and stay safer. In addition, the Reach & Wash? system uses no harsh chemicals, only pure water is used for cleaning, making them the ideal choice in maintaining the safest most environmentally friendly solution. Ionic Systems paired with Aviall, an established global aerospace distributor with a long-standing history of connecting customers with strategically-positioned product solutions, that can meet the industry’s current and future cleaning needs.
Aviall operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting both commercial and defence business units within Boeing. Aviall is a leading solutions provider of aftermarket supply-chain management services for the aerospace and defence industries.
Aviall, which is headquarters in Dallas, is the world’s largest provider of new aviation parts and related aftermarket services. The company offers a complete set of supply-chain and logistics services, including order processing, stocking and fulfillment, automated inventory management and reverse logistics to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and customers.

Aviall are the perfect partner for the introduction of the Reach & Wash system for quick, efficient and environmentally friendly cleaning far beyond obvious structures.
“Ionic’s aim is to improve safety, reduce injury to personal with limiting large access stand manoeuvring , with big emphasis on reducing aircraft external damage cause by these platforms and stands. Further applications include rapid spot cleaning and inspection of bird strikes, and not forgetting exterior cleaning of aircraft. Whilst a more specialist area of pure water supply for gas turbine engine compressor washing will also be addressed”, said Gordon Cornish (Ionic Systems Australia). “It is going to be a very exciting next few years, having Aviall’s scope and reach globally, every airline at every destination both civilian and defence are potential customers” said Gordon.
Craig Mawlam says “Partnering with a Boeing company (Aviall) offers a great springboard opportunity for Ionic as we continue to roll out our diversification and growth plans. There has never been a better time to introduce chemical-free pure water cleaning solutions to the world.
