Involve & Innovate / Path to Success

Create ----> Accept ---->Implement----> Demonstrate ----> Evaluate and start again.

Observation: "The Most Powerful Tool" everyone have it but very few learn from it. How you can best utilize 'The Most Powerful Tool'

It always start with observation, try and recall first time ever you had an eye contact with new born baby, those bright eyes without any expectation trying to understand the strange world around. That's where anyone start's observing and that's the time when our observation power is very very strong as a kid. We observe, and we create/ we invent how things are done. It can be as simple as Mom teaching the new born how to use lips, tongue and mouth movement to speak "MAA" /"MoM". That's the point when we start observing and when we learn how to "Create"

"Create", We should understand

Why to Create?,

What to Create?,

When to Create?,

Who will Create?

Where to Create? and

How to Create?

Combinations of above question will help in understanding the in depth requirement to create learning pathway/culture/track in any organization you are working. It all start with Observation. We should understand the work/task we do everyday and we should start observing it with different angles/dimension to find out how we can get the value out of what we are doing. By understanding and asking above questions.

Unleash your Power of Observation and do things differently by adding Value to your work.

Accept: Acceptance

If we are able to Create a program/process by addressing the above questions, it becomes easier to "Accept the Creation". However, there is always a scope of improvement. So we consult with our stake holders and take their view point and acknowledge the feedback/suggestions shared by them and implement the changes wherever required.

At times it becomes difficult for us to Accept the fault in creation majorly because of these reason, 'that we are grown up's now', 'I have lot of experience', 'how can I go wrong'.

Trust me everyone knows 'what you are' and 'who you are', you don't have to prove it again and again. STOP take a BREAK go back and recall when you were able to convince your father for a toy which you wanted desperately and have "prepared" well for that discussion and were able to get the sponsorship. Trust me in corporate world you need to build Sponsorship and its really important to "Prepare well" to get the Acceptance for your Creation.

Implement: Implementation

This is the most important and critical part of any process, where your project management skills are actually put to test. Implementation is the fruit for which you bow the seeds and nourish the plant. For instance, if a father plans to take his family out for some fun activity to spend quality time, tells the family about it, decides the day and place as well but forgets to make a reservation for the day and so fails to execute it on the day, a whole lot of emotions/intent then go in vain without proper implementation. The purpose of the implementation phase is to execute the training plan that you designed and developed in earlier phases of the systematic approach to training. This is when the learners undertake the activities of learning, produce the various tangible results that can be referenced as means to evaluate learners' progress towards achieving the learning objectives, and evaluation occurs not only of the results produced by learners but also the activities of implementation to ensure those activities themselves are of high-quality. If the previous phases of assessment i.e. create and acceptance was done well, then this implementation phase would go quite smoothly.

Evaluate

When you designed the learning objectives, you also identified certain tangible results that learners would produce, so those results could be evaluated. Are you referencing those results? What is their quality? Are you seeing any progress towards achieving the overall training goals that were identified during the first phase -- the needs assessment phase -- of the planning of systematic training? What comments and other feedback are you getting from the learners that will be useful in ensuring a high-quality training program?

Training plans are changed much more frequently than most people realize. Plans can be changed, as long as they're changed in a systematic approach. For example, if the version of the plan is updated, the impact of the change is considered for each phase of the planning, and the changed plan is distributed to all relevant participants. What you plan in the initial stage is important but what is also critical is the thought you put in every phase to evaluate the process you are using. Evaluation, based on the current scenario, need and your aim, is likely to change your initial plans as well sometimes but the evaluation turns your plan into success. Just how teachers evaluate students through various assessments through the academic year to give them an idea of their performance and where they stand so that they can make their way further based on that.

To conclude all this, most importantly it’s the choice you make at every step that makes or breaks the deal for you. Irrespective of where you work, you must be watchful of your observations to ensure you create something that everyone accepts, think through its implementation and evaluate your experience with each phase to create a successful path for yourself. Believe in yourself, and keep yourself on your toes to constantly create your own journey. Remember, your betterment is your organization’s betterment and vice versa.
