Involta and HacWare Launch Inaugural Hackathon Event at Stark State College

Can hacking be a good thing? For Involta and @HacWare, an AI-driven phishing simulations technology provider, it definitely can.


The two tech companies recently teamed up to launch the inaugural “Capture the Phish” Hackathon with the goal of unlocking the door to innovations in cybersecurity. Combining software engineering and cybersecurity disciplines, the one-of-a-kind event held at Stark State College in Canton, Ohio, provided local students the opportunity to flex their tech talents, further explore a career in technology and network with industry leaders—all while strengthening the cybersecurity community and driving innovation to combat ever-evolving cybersecurity attacks.


First-place winners Tyler Allen and Grant Hyne, Copley-Fairlawn High School students participating in Stark State’s college credit program, earned the opportunity to interview for a HacWare internship. The event included a cybersecurity discussion with @EricHamer, Chief Technology Officer at HacWare, and @MarkCooley, Vice President of Security & Compliance at Involta.?

Involta’s Second Annual Cinco De Mayo Golf Outing Raises More Than $45,000 to Help Sexual Trauma Survivors?

In support of the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA), Involta recently hosted its second annual Cinco De Mayo Golf Tournament. The event was held at the Skyline Country Club, set high in the mountains above the city, and was co-hosted with Lambda Lambda Lambda, Tucson’s technology networking group. The tournament received overwhelming support from golfers and attendees. Thanks to their generous contributions, the proceeds surpassed last year's inaugural event, raising a remarkable total of $45,164 to aid sexual trauma survivors.

At ITW in National Harbor, @MichelleMoran, Senior Vice President of Sales, Product and Marketing, participated in the @JSA panel discussion “Getting to Greener Data: Actionable Insights from Sustainability Leaders.” Industry professionals explored how the digital infrastructure industry can drive meaningful change toward a greener future.?

Moran also joined JSA TV to share her perspectives on industry trends and what’s in store for Involta in the second half of 2023.?

Channel Partners Conference 2023 Live from Las Vegas

@MichaelJoffe, Involta’s new Vice President of Channel, hit the ground running with his first few days on the job onsite at the Channel Partners Conference in Las Vegas. He sat down with #JSATV to discuss his new role and his goals for Involta’s Channel Program.


Idaho Women in Technology, Involta and Ventive Host the Star Wars Tech Event of the Millennium

Involta, in collaboration with @Ventive-llc, a UX design and development agency, and @Idaho Women In Technology (iWIT), hosted the May the 4th Be With You Tech Mixer, a Star Wars-themed networking event. The event featured world-renowned Star Wars artist @CliffCramp, and Terri Pickens Manweiler, candidate for Governor of Idaho.
