It gives us great pleasure to invite you to be a part of Dr.Sulochana Gunasheela Memorial Conference “Mastery & Excellence” to be held in Bangalore from 13th to 15th October 2017. 

Dr. Sulochana Gunasheela was a pioneer in both Infertility and in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also was the first to introduce Ultrasound, Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy to the state of Karnataka. She started the concept of Laparoscopic sterilization camps in Karnataka and taught the doctors in the government set-up the technique of Lap Sterilization.

Infertility was her passion. The first ART baby in South India was created in Gunasheela Hospital in 1988. She went on to produce India’s first baby from In-vitro Matured oocytes in 2003 and initiated this programme which is still successfully running with over 600 patients having gone through the IVM cycle.

This conference is a dedication in her memory as she left us in September 2012.

The theme of this conference is “Mastery & Excellence” which describes Dr.Sulochana Gunasheela as she mastered the science of Infertility and High Risk Obstetrics and then excelled in it.

We have a 3-days conference with the first day dedicated to 6 workshops followed by interaction with the speakers. The conference programme will consist of keynote presentations, panel discussions, etc. We have a host of renowned international, national and regional faculty who will enlighten us about the current advances in the fields of Reproductive Medicine and High Risk Obstetrics and give us a glimpse as to what the future holds for us in both these fields.

To encourage the concept of research in the young enthusiastic clinicians, we have a session dedicated for “Young Investigator”. We welcome your entries in the field of Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics and the three most interesting papers in each category will be chosen by a panel of international speakers. The best paper in each category will be awarded Rs.50000. We request all the young clinicians (age below 40 years) to put on their thinking hats and get ready for the young investigator contest.
