Dear Fellow Educators and Mentors,

We here at The Spark Initiative are proud members of the SEL Providers Council, a group aimed at advancing high-quality social emotional learning (SEL) and strengthening student wellbeing and outcomes through collective learning, thought leadership, and action.

The Council has written a letter in support of Dr. Miguel Cardona’s nomination as the next Secretary of Education. We invite you to read and sign this letter. Dr. Cardona has demonstrated a commitment to focusing on the social and emotional well-being of young people and understands that SEL is at the heart of academic and life success for all young people.
