Maskwacis Cultural College is located on the Maskwacis reserve, Alberta, Treaty 6 and frequently offers microlearning?programs for students to make new connections and to learn knowledge and skills which can be applied in a variety of settings.??Would you and your team be interested in presenting in one of our microlearning programs? Types of presentations we are looking for:?

• 20 min presentation followed by a 10 min Q & A?
• 30 min presentation followed by 15 min Q & A?
• 60 min presentation which includes 2 rounds of conversation with the attendees plus introductions and a closing circle?
• Interactive Cree language circle master apprentice?
• Hands on workshop where participants are doing a hands-on activity?
• Panel presentation?
• Poster presentation?

Possible proposals include:?

• Leading a hands-on workshop, which could include participants doing self-paced work ahead of time?
• Facilitating a group project, where participants work towards a common goal?
• Hosting a “try-out” space, where participants can try new tools or skills?
• Facilitating a brainstorming session to solve a real-life challenge?
• Facilitating a study group, where participants come together to discuss material they have studied in advance?
• Delivering a presentation focused on a single topic, project, or case study?
• Giving a lightning talk?
• And more: surprise us!?

• Indigenizing?
• Decolonizing?
• Data Science?
• Online Learning & Teaching?
• Resilience?
• Wellness??
• Phycological Recovery?
• Cree Language?
• Open Source & Technology Tools?

Sessions are recorded which allows more people to be reached because sometimes people cannot make the event due to conflicts but have requested the recordings.

Who are the learners??Students, instructors, general community members, working professionals.?

How many learners: We have had 12 to 253 learners. We usually have 12-17 attendees and 15-21 registrations. These learning meetings are delivered via Zoom.?

We create a registration form, blog page, list the event in our program calendar, Facebook, website, Twitter, LinkedIn, listservs, and email?invitations.?

Presenting will help build starter text, videos which can be uploaded on YouTube, and can help build your profile.?
