An invitation to join us at The International Women In Business Virtual Expo

I'm honoured to have been invited to be a speaker at this Women in Business Expo as a result of writing the book 'Women Behaving courageously: How gutsy women, young and old are transforming the world.'

When NZ went into lock-down because of Covid, a female neighbour (who held a fairly high position with one of NZ's four big banks) asked if I'd written any books on 'women in leadership' I hadn't. So when I asked her why she needed such a book, she told me that all the women in the bank she worked for, had been told to reapply for a reduced number of positions at the bank due to lock-down, but all the men's positions had been deemed 'safe'.

I could not believe, that in this day and age, women were still being seen and treated, as 2nd class citizens.

The book isn't about belittling men, it's a book I wanted to write to thank all the women who had inspired and mentored me when I entered the corporate world over 30 years previously, but it also led me to researching 25 of today's female WARRIORS. Women who were standing up for other women in this seemingly never ending quest, to prove our worth and our value to any business, to communities and to the planet.
