The 5th Annual AtlAS Lecture will occur on Thursday April 23, 2020 at 6pm ET.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, this year’s lecture will be entirely virtual by webinar.

We are delighted to announce this year’s speaker will be Dr. Horacio Grigera Naón. The topic:

“Quo Vadis, International Arbitration”

Dr. Grigera Naón, an Argentine national, is a distinguished international arbitrator and consultant on arbitration and business and international law matters.  He is a former Secretary General of the ICC’s International Court of Arbitration and has been a practitioner in the field of international arbitration for over thirty years. Dr. Grigera Naón is a Distinguished Practitioner in Residence and the Director of the International Commercial Arbitration Center of the Washington College of Law, American University, a member of the American Law Institute, and a former Senior Counsel with the International Finance Corporation. He holds LL.M. and S.J.D degrees from Harvard Law School, LL.B and LL.D. degrees from the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, and is a member of the Argentine Federal, New York, District of Columbia and United States Supreme Court Bars.

The AtlAS Lecture series is a prestigious annual event in the field of International Commercial Arbitration, organized by the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS) in conjunction with prominent academic institutions in the Southeast USA. The series began in 2016 in honor of Glenn Hendrix, the founding president of the Atlanta International Arbitration Society. The series has established itself as one of the most respected events on the global Alternative Dispute Resolution calendar.
