Invisible Wounds Kill!

Every day, 22+ veterans die by suicide who are suffering from many afflictions, including the invisible wound of moral injury.

The combat veteran 501(c)(3) Heroes To Heroes Foundation mission, and the one-year program described below, helps to save these lives!

What is moral injury?

Moral injury is the betrayal of one's conscience. It's the deep-seated pain that arises when we witness or participate in acts that violate our deepest moral compass.

These American heroes, our nation's veterans, can be impacted by one or more of the following, which can lead to a tragic outcome...

• Deep regret, guilt, anger, sadness, or grief
• Overwhelming loss
• Poor sleep
• Rumination (going over and over the past)
• Helplessness or hopelessness
• Irritability, angry outbursts, recklessness, or hyper-vigilance

Heroes To Heroes Foundation

Heroes To Heroes Foundation successfully saves vets who return home suffering moral injury and who live at serious risk of death by suicide.

The one-year program focuses on peer support, spiritual awakening, and reconnection to faith with a significant Israel/IDF component as part of the mission.

Heroes To Heroes Foundation...Bringing our American heroes from suicidal ideation to community reintegration!

Heroes To Heroes Foundation is a $1MM nondenominational combat veteran 501(c)(3).

At this size, HTH allows donors of any amount to make a huge impact on our mission.

As an overview, the mission is successfully saving vets returning home suffering moral injury, and who live at serious risk of death by suicide.

Our 12-month program focuses on peer support, spiritual reawakening, and reconnection to faith.

A significant key to our program are 10-day Team journeys to Israel towards the middle of the year-long program. This journey is critical for the veteran's path to healing! IDF soldiers, many suffering in the same way, participate with us on the ground in Israel.

HTH is 4-Star Charity Navigator-rated and the efficacy of our program has been validated by a long-term study conducted by Dr. Joseph Currier, a national leader in the area of moral injury at the University of South Alabama.

In Israel, the vets travel with members of the IDF, many of whom are suffering in much the same way.

We have had multiple Teams recently return from Israel after a hiatus after the atrocities of October 7th!
