The magicleap stream yesterday was semi informative (and running at the same time as the world cup semi finals...what is wrong with you guys...?). Nothing groundbreaking to see for me and nothing we could not do with a Hololens today.
But the biggest disappointment are the hidden eyes behind the HMD. Being able to look s.o. in the eye during a conversion is crucial and one of the greatest promise of AR. I am aware that a lightfield display probably needs this, but it′s such a massive drawback that I am not sure if it worth the disadvantages.

6 年I don’t mind the invisible eyes that much, as I think that even in a collaborative environment you will concentrate more on the AR element, but a very valid point nevertheless. And anyway the whole presentation was a big disappointment, as you said nothing you couldn’t do with a Hololens- since some years. And let’s see what the Hololens 2 will bring.
