Real estate industry professionals ranked Austin No. 2 in the nation for real estate prospects and investor demand this year, citing the market's lower housing and business costs compared to the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and office hubs that can be accessed by car, according to the Urban Land Institute’s annual “Emerging Trends in Real Estate” 2021 report.
