What an amazing blessing in our lives. At times, we, as entrepreneurs face daily things; challenges. Challenges last; because I know how it sounds to our significant others. Our; loved ones. Society does not really understand the juke, or the pivot. We are intended to follow these guidelines and these careful steps. And we want perfection in this, and that. But, as we all know; this is life. Things do not happen like that.?

I believe in the balance of the forces.?

As soon as I caught wind of the situation; I became pro active. For example. Let me share with you what New York City; taught me, yesterday.? New Yorkers are driving Corvettes. Yes. You heard me right. C8 Corvettes. What does that mean? And what does that mean to me?

Well; for starters. I had to have a moment of reflection. I already had been looking; for over four years into the Corvette. I knew that it would take time, for this iteration/ introductory version to work all of its bugs, quirks and features out. For example. There is a seat belt recall on all 2024 models. The retraction units, are simply out of spec, thus regulations forced the improvement. It took four years, to see that. So there is growth there for Chevrolet.?

I had been looking into the ZR1, and the ZR1 only; I found myself looking at the C8 base model, as the Z06 was on the horizon. In the middle of that; Ford introduced the Mustang Dark Horse. I was already super satisfied with the Mach 1. From the 550 frame.?

Then, right in the middle of that; the E Ray was also introduced with four wheel drive, electrification and yes, tuners already have twin turbo charged them to over 1k bhp.?

I was on a stand still.?

I was still interested but, in my heart of hearts; I was really more interested in the actual pricing. But, we are really talking about real, true life; market value. During the pandemic, you had the many markups of Porsches, Ferraris etc. The Corvette was also fetching a premium. Only my YouTube friends, were able to get close to MSRP.?

Even if they only paid a penny over sticker price; they got them all, in the finance department. Trust me. That one thousand dollar payment, at a favorable zero percent; became two, point, five times the rate.?

So who wins in the end??

The market. The economy. Politrics.?

I found myself dealing with stress. I revert back to exotic car brands; for the brand, not the value. Not going anywhere near two hundred grand for a Chevy. Not touching one hundred and fifty; both Z06, and E Ray start around the one, twenties. I was still not completely sold but, I honestly followed developments with the C8 frame. I saw tuners come out, and performance shops pushing the envelope. I kept a close eye on all of its developments.?

The paradox came when comparing the Mustang to the ZL1. That pushed me back to the last gen Z06 with similar horsepower. Pricing was spot on. My Son Koby, has had, two of them; back to back. Again. I am very impressed. My son started with a V6, during the transformers era. The talk of the town, at that time; was the eco boost, Mustang 550. Camaro had waited and missed the wave.?

By the time that a four cylinder turbo was made available, to the Camaro; people had moved on.?

I moved on from the Z06, and the E Ray; at once. The ZR1, is a similar project; I also lost interest in. Recently it has been sparked but, I am still skeptical.?

Looking from the ZL1, to the older C7 Z06; then to the default, and out of frustration C7 ZR1. At 750 BHP; it does everything, perfect.?

Prices went crazy. The GrandSports; only added to the confusion. I started to go backwards to special edition C6’s. I had to get a grip on myself; because my car addiction was rising again. I finally settled on a price; price point, and price range. Not based on true market values, as I am not planning on selling this car, anytime soon. But, more closely based on what I allowed myself; to pay.?

In that pursuit of happiness; I landed on a few exotic machines. All are of similar performance and price. But, where I planned to live, for those up comming months; this car was perfect.?

I selected a McLaren. Yellow. Fully loaded. Low miles. One owner. Full service history. This is for less than the price of a decently equipped Corvette; of the year. I thought to myself; I got a winner. It had a lot do, with the logistics. Where I planned to live; it is tasteless to have 1,000 cars. I knew that I needed family vehicles and only a few execute vehicles for my investments. This car here; would have to be my daily, personal car. It would have to be on a daily routine, to also be, a multi role fighter. If I have to carry some two by four’s; we have to figure this out. I am using boxes, tape and whatever I can find. But, like the times where I have to get quick groceries; I have to make it happen. That is the penalty and price; I have to pay, back to the Universe.?

My passenger seat, the back of both seats, and the foot rest; is my extended trunk. I am putting groceries anywhere I can. I may go to a business meeting in it. I may go to a construction site with it. If it needs to be tow vehicle; it does not matter. It has to join my executive fleet.?

I kept thinking about the religious communities; around my home. And this old Mclaren; is a space ship here. It is new to them. The industry is more like; let it go. Its over. That car is a 2012; as an example. Even still; even though its old; or whatever, maybe not up to par. I still feel out of place. I have over six hundred and fifty bhp.?

But, all at the same time; I am down sizing. I am replacing six or seven cars; with this one choice. So again; I have no choice but, to make it work.?

So now. My real estate decisions, lead me to make this pivot. I feel great. Mission accomplished. And, I allow myself some downtime, to think all of this through. Then this; happens.?

New York is driving Corvettes, like the five boroughs eat pizza, every day. I stopped my train of thoughts; dead on arrival. Wait a minute? Do all of these financial professionals, know something that I don’t?

I traveled through time; outside of my situation.?

I had been planning this time frame, to get to Monaco. Obviously, that is the next level. So I looked at this, minimalist approach as my starting point. Now; New Yorkers, showed me a bridge.?

Think about it.?

I was so much, in depth about my situation, that I saw myself in the future doing the same; in Monaco. I foresaw myself, adapting to that environment. I thought about New York, since my daughter told me about my future Grandchild. I had been so separate from there; I used the same approach.?

What would I do in New York??

How would I enter this market, and this new field of finances??

I have to create my own environment; and establish my own rules. It requires, of me; myself, to look and search, much, deeper/ within.?

The Corvette and the Mustang, have full factory warranties. Also, while we are at it. I have always known; what I want. If I get a Mustang, most likely it will be a V8. If I get any Corvette, it can be a base model. Regardless of what range it is. At least I know that much.?

In New York, I have ample choices for service department; in both brands. Exotics, are naturally, a more boutique experience. I cannot have my sports car breakdown on me, in traffic? Or on the highway? See what I mean??

I cannot miss a day of work, or weeks; to service any car. I have a huge company to run. All I can do, at this point; is hire more people, so I can manage them. As they manage the others, that I can only assist remotely. The last thing I need to worry about; is any downtime.?

The Corvette is the New Yorkers choice, because it is the smartest choice. New Yorkers are very, very, very smart; about their moneys. I have to follow suit. If it is a good purchase for them; I am already sold. This is my version of Edmunds or a Kelly Blue Book review. Its a good buy. And I can also start with a gently used; certified, preowned, well taken care of with low miles, and an exceptional service history. Same core values. Less than two, or three owners.?

I have a baby on the way.?

New York; is a reality for me.?

If its good enough for New York; its good enough for me. It will be great in California, as well as New Orleans and Texas. It will be at home in Florida, therefore; Monaco. It may not fit in; there. But, I, have to make it work, for; me.?

My neighbors have Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS’s. I was too cheap; and started to look into Viper ACR’s. But, with a Grandchild, incoming; we must continue the fight. This Indigo child, deserves the best. That will include me; managing my investments properly. A car is just a car. And my imagination is un limited power. Tony Robbins. Lol. Shameless plug.?

My corporation only uses Honda Accords, and Toyota Camrys. A Corvette is a treat. I have to make it work; even in the snow weather. Heck; I might just take the train, the bus, or? cab during those times. I may walk, jog, hike or bike; during those times. This is all for my baby.?

My youngest Son, will need a car soon. But, my daughter needs a car now; both, for herself, and another one for the baby. For example, an Suv. I am now in the market for the main vehicle, to transport my Grandchild. Then a secondary vehicle. Between my Son in law, the baby and my daughter; they are all covered. If she has to be in her office; he can transport the child. Or she can take the baby, where they both need to be. So in all reality; two new cars there.?

Plus another car, for my youngest Son; eventually.?

That means, simply put; base model of whatever I buy for myself. The savings will be placed towards, all of those unknown variables.?

Its a business expense, and a tax write off. At the same time; while it takes care of so many things, for my loved ones. For the company it also sets an example when you see me drive my Honda Accord and my Toyota Camry; as my baby, private jet.?

I just saw a 1992 private jet for sale; priced at less than a million dollars. That may be an option for me in the future. I can see investing several millions of dollars into personal aircraft. Never, do I think to myself: twenty, thirty million dollars etc.?

Not now. Not ever.?
