Investment
One could argue that we have shifted to the Investment?Organisation: one that no longer simply procures what it needs (people, things, ideas), but rather invests in the structures and individuals that create those things. Structures such as community, trust, belief, fairness, and so on.
Investment requires a change in mindset, timeframe, and system, because it fundamentally alters the purpose of an ‘organisation’. Instead of being the ‘means’ of production, it becomes the enabler. A subtle shift, but a central one.
There is also a question of the?currencies?that this investment is made in: whilst money may be involved, it will not be the only one.
