A former farmstead with three cottages and outbuildings on a half-acre plot near Haywards Heath is coming up for auction next month. (wed, dec 15)

The part-vacant possession investment with potential is among 126 lots in the latest auction being held by one of the top five property auctioneers in the UK, Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

Located on the edge of Ashdown Forest, 1, 2 & 3 Forest Farm Cottages in Lewes Road, Chelwood Gate is being offered with a £900,000-plus freehold guide price at the firm’s latest auction which ends on Wednesday 15 December.

Two of the cottages are let, currently generating £18,012 per annum, with the third end-terrace three bedroom cottage over two floors offered with vacant possession and in need of updating.

Senior Auction Appraiser & Auctioneer Richard Payne said: “This is a rare and interesting opportunity to acquire a former farmstead arranged as three adjoining cottages and various outbuildings.
