A great example of our learning and development culture, are our two General Managers, who are responsible for supporting and leading our teams across Australia. Aurora Perez (General Manager NSW/QLD) commenced with LUXXE as an Office Coordinator at a five star hotel in Sydney and today she manages half the country leading a team of over 500.?
Bivek Poudyal (General Manager ACT/VIC/SA/WA) started his LUXXE career as a House-person in Queensland and now oversees the southern region of Australia, leading more than 450 frontline staff.
Leadership Training and Development?
Our approach to leadership training is comprehensive and tailored to the needs of our team. We continually want to invest in and grow the skillset of our Senior Leadership Team with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles. This training is not just about managing teams - it’s about connecting with them and inspiring, continually trying to drive innovation, and leading by example.
Recently, our People & Culture Manager Donna Musarella hosted a LUXXE roadshow across the country and spent time with each of our hotel based leaders. The objective of this team-engaging exercise was to continue upskilling our team’s knowledge of the quality management systems and new advanced recruitment technological platforms we have in place, continually aiming to entice and retain the best talent in Australia.
The content covered in this Roadshow Training included tips on how to find the “best fit” applicants for each hotel, the importance of staff retention and how to get the best outcomes for our clients and our team, whilst always living up to our values as a team and a business, and continually meeting our business objectives.?
