An Investigator, An Author, A Resource

The first attorney to refer to me as 007, was a highly competent Hague law attorney located in the USA. At the time, I was flattered but thought of it as a bit of a gag. Over time the name has stuck, and today I actually do receive emails that go something like this...

"Hello...007, my name is XXXX, and my law firm is XXXX. The issue we're having is XXXX and we can't find any solutions to it. Can you help?" and this is often followed up with a second email that says something like "In case you are wondering, I was told to refer to you as 007 and that M had sent me."

Not to make you think I have the world's biggest ego, I still take the name with a grain of salt and humility but there is a great feeling knowing that more and more law firms from all over the world are coming to know my firm as the one that provides accurate answers when the chips are down and every avenue has been traveled. Our reputation is one that is fair and diligent and personally, my clients know that they can contact me 24 hours a day through various channels and I am always willing to hear them out, weigh their options and tell them truthfully when a product or service they are trying to acquire is not in their best interests or there is a better option available.

These positive working experiences have also flourished in other areas for me and my firm. We now have regular engagement with a number of Consulates and Political Leaders around the world, we are relied upon by some very impressive law firms and I've even been commissioned to provide articles regarding various topics on a consistent basis for various areas of the law and various jurisdictions of the law. One of my favorite contributions is to the Shulman Family Law Online Knowledge Base (available at https://shulman.ca/author/axis-geffen/), which has presented me with an opportunity to educate a number of legal professionals and their clients regarding a wide variety of investigative, safety and security issues.

Recently, my firm was honored to receive the award for Best Investigative Support Firm 2019 - Canada Wide and we were very happy to be recognized for our efforts. At the end of the day, there are thousands of firms to choose from and I am always thankful when a client comes to me for assistance in their matter. There are larger firms out there but even many of them come to us when they hit the wall in an investigation. Our focus is on the solution not the person or the firm bringing the problem forward.
