Invest in yourself..

We go to school, college, university; get a post graduate specialization to obtain a decent job. We get trained for an initial period of 1 year to learn the intricacies of the role which has been assigned. Having learned & cleared our initial period of probation, we tend to keep doing the job in the same way expecting promotion. When you don't get, you are dissatisfied. This is the general approach of well over 90% of working class.

The people who do well in their business or career have a well laid out strategy. After taking a job in any decent organization, they look at their career options. After the initial training, they discharge their functions brilliantly. They constantly upgrade themselves in their field of expertise & do more than they are capable of doing. In other words, they discharge 2 positions above their designated role which makes them invaluable. They upgrade their skills in terms of communication, decision making, customer handling, people management etc which makes them a sought after employee. They learn, relearn, unlearn; attend seminar, hear videos of great men & women, enroll for higher education making them unstoppable.

Self Investment is the best investment. Keep investing yourself to an extent of 30% of your income each month. The returns will fetch you more than the investment returns from fixed deposit, mutual funds, PPF put together. The returns will not only give you a handsome returns but you feel satisfied & fulfilled. You will grow in stature & respected among the larger sections of people.

Lastly, you feel fulfilled internally that you have unleashed your potential fully.
