Every organization needs leaders who can bring out the best in individuals and push their teams to reach their full potential. Leaders have an essential role in building a competitive advantage in today’s global economy. Blue Ridge Community College can help develop leadership skills and techniques through our practical, interactive workshops.
Participants who successfully complete the 5 Core Competency workshops will earn a Certificate of Completion in #Leadership. Workshops can be offered individually as well. We will even customize topics to create a program that meets the specific needs of your organization. The Added Competency workshops will further enhance leadership skills.
We will deliver training on-site at your place of #business OR we can schedule it in our conference facility, the Plecker Workforce Center, on the BRCC Weyers Cave campus.
Leaders who become “people smart” use the strengths and weaknesses of their own personalities and adapt them to the strengths and weaknesses of others. Focus on personality as a component of leadership and how to effectively lead your team. Take the Meyers Briggs Personality Type Indicator and learn about the 16 general personality types, and identify personality strengths and weaknesses of each type. Begin to strategize ways to uniquely communicate to the different personalities on your team.
