Invest In Africa (IIA) proudly launched the highly anticipated MSME Olympiad Program 2023, marking the commencement of a transformative journey to empower Kenyan Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the world of intra-African trade.?

IIA's unwavering mission revolves around empowering MSMEs by enhancing their access to skills, markets, and financial resources. Recognizing the pivotal role played by these enterprises in shaping the global economy, IIA stands as a steadfast champion for their growth and prosperity.?

In our journey towards this mission, we serve as a unifying force, bringing together key stakeholders, visionaries, and innovators. We convene collaboratively to illuminate the path forward for MSMEs, and to provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to flourish.?

IIA stands committed to catalyzing positive change in Kenya's dynamic MSME landscape. In this spirit, we have partnered with The Association of Startup and SMEs Enablers of Kenya ( ASSEK ) and I Choose Life - Africa , to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Kenya through the MSME Olympiad Program 2023.?

The program serves as a gateway to new opportunities and sustainable growth for MSMEs that is aimed at enhancing their capacity and strengthening the ecosystem, primarily focusing on fostering intra-Africa trade. Tailored for 150 MSMEs spanning six Kenyan counties - Machakos, Nairobi, Laikipia, Bomet, Turkana, and Uasin Gishu - it encompasses six vital modules: Business Model Canvas and Scaling Strategies, Compliance and Impact Measurement, Financial Management, Marketing and Sales, Operational Management and Planning, and Product and Service Development.?

These modules are carefully structured to provide participating MSMEs with the knowledge, tools, and strategies necessary to not just survive but thrive in today's ever-evolving business landscape.?

The Program's official commencement was on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, in Machakos County. This marked the initiation of an inspiring journey characterized by learning, growth, and shared aspirations. The inaugural training workshop featured modules on Business Model Canvas and Scaling Strategies, and Marketing and Sales, setting the stage for a transformative experience for all participants.?
