"It's Not Magic, It's Science!" Live Tour Takes Over Atlanta!
We've taken the magic behind the science on the road for a live show that's as entertaining as it is educational! Our 3rd stop on the tour was Atlanta, GA hosted at a bilingual elementary school?and presented by? Novelis . 125 students from the community benefited from the live performance at the school and later that day we performed our first early career employee workshop! The workshop equipped employees in the Novelis Engineering Development Program with insight and tools to better support STEM outreach in the communities they work in. Employees that attended also took home an "It's Not Magic, It's Science!" experiment kit!
Next stop HOUSTON!! In the next two months, we'll be heading to Houston, TX and Charlotte, NC (sponsorship opportunities still available). More details on that coming soon! Want your city/company be part of the "It's Not Magic, It's Science!" Live Tour??Contact us here .
New Mystery Science Lesson!
As a Mystery Guide for Discovery Education's Mystery Science I help kids stay curious by creating better explanations for millions of students! The first ten years of life are the years of peak curiosity. These are the years when children form habits of thinking that will live with them for the rest of their lives. This is when they form their view of the world. This is the opportunity to nurture each child’s burning curiosity, guide them as they explore their world, and ensure they develop the most important skill of all: the ability to figure things out for themselves.
