Invent The Change May Highlights

2022 has been packed with inspiration and impact! I am so excited for my debut on American Ninja Warrior (June 6th) at 8/7c on NBC, but I am equally excited to share our impact from last month. From serving as the keynote speaker for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Latinx Graduation Ceremony to a new Mystery Science lesson and a new "It's Not Magic, It's Science!" experiment that's perfect for the start of summer vacation... here are a few highlights from May!

American Ninja Warrior Debut

The 10 year dream has finally come true! I am officially an AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR!!! You will have to tune into NBC on June 6th at 8/7c to find out how it went, but for now I want to show you how it was possible:

It's 100% thanks to my family, friends, and supporters that have from day one poured love and belief into my heart. It's a priceless blessing that has allowed me to push through barriers and blaze trails for myself and others. THANK YOU!

University of Wisconsin - Madison Latinx Graduation Keynote

I had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker for the?University of Wisconsin-Madison ?#Latinx ?Graduation Ceremony. 10 years after graduating from UW-Madison I was able to share guidance with the growing Latinx community on campus. I was able to share stories of struggles that I know we had in common but also share how special it would feel to hug their loved ones once they crossed the stage. We shared laughs, deep thought, and tears as I outlined the path forward for the Latinx community and the important role that each of the graduates could play in that bright future by lifting as they climb!

New Mystery Science Lesson

As a Mystery Guide for Discovery Education's Mystery Science I help kids stay curious by creating better explanations for millions of students! The first ten years of life are the years of peak curiosity. These are the years when children form habits of thinking that will live with them for the rest of their lives. This is when they form their view of the world. This is the opportunity to nurture each child’s burning curiosity, guide them as they explore their world, and ensure they develop the most important skill of all: the ability to figure things out for themselves.
