Intuitive Coach! What does that mean?

Intuitive Coach! What does that mean?

In 2009, an intuitive ability opened up for me. Just like that. Boom. I was lying on the floor, breathing through tears, having seen a couple of gory past lives and suddenly I had a voice in my head, telling me things about the people around me that I could not have known.

Things that they confirmed were true.

I credit the 19 years of meditation I had already done by then, and the 13 years of learning different energetic practices - Reiki, EFT, Pranic healing, Silva Method, the list goes on - as having helped open something up in me.

I didn’t have anyone to guide me, so it was pretty much me and the voice inside my head. It was challenging initially - because the voice said some pretty fantastical things and my right brain conditioning needed proof and validation to believe. Proof that came through books, other people and trusty-Google-searches.

People who heard of this started asking me whether I could tell them something about themselves and the voice did. I would describe to them in detail the guides I "saw" around them and would be stunned to know that the description fit a photograph in their altar or a parent who had moved on and other such connections. Then they were informed of areas they were having trouble in and what they could do to resolve those. Some were informed of events that would unfold over the year and what they needed to do to make the best of them.

“Wow”, I thought, “my life is sorted.”

I didn’t realise, however, that this guidance only illuminated a small part of the path, similar to how car headlights light up only a short distance ahead. It’s like listening to Google Maps tell you when to go left and right but never being able to zoom out to see the complete map. You think the destination is clear, but that too is a blurry goal within your head, blurry because you’ve never been there. You only have a vague idea of what it may look like once you get there. Sometimes you are shown a snapshot of the future but that is usually because the next stretch of the road will be challenging and “they” want to keep your spirits up.

Who is the “they” I refer to - I call them my guides. I have been introduced to them over the last 15 years but I like to keep them anonymous. And “they” are the ones who help my clients providing them important navigational instructions for their lives.

So what does it mean to be an intuitive coach?

1. A coach is someone who believes you have the solutions and therefore helps you with clarifying your thinking around the situation.

When I connect to a client, I see three things I see their energy.

People look like shaggy polar bears to my intuitive eyes. Depending on the length, brightness and texture of their fur I can connect them to the problem areas. Dull, grey fur usually indicates a heaviness or grief and depending on which part of their body this is seen in, we look at what is showing up physically. Red fur typically indicates anger or anxiety and is usually found in the solar plexus area but can also appear around the feet or the head.

I see beings around them. These can be helpful beings who the client is familiar with, for example, I may see an angel, a departed loved one, or a spiritual guide and in most cases, the client is familiar with that energy. Sometimes I see entities, ancestors, and energy vampires who are draining the client of energy and either creating ill health or fatigue.

I see incidents that are impacting the energy of the person. These incidents could have happened right from conception, in a past life or in their ancestral lineage. Some we can prove, some we cannot.

Once these things are seen, I use energetic practices to help the client release the energy. The guides usually ask them to continue with an easy, non-time-consuming activity over seven to twenty-one days and we keep a check on the progress felt by the client.

As a coach measuring results is important to me.

2. A coach pushes you out of your comfort zone to enable you to achieve your ambitious goals.

When a client speaks about their goals, I intuitively download the ideal qualities that would help them achieve those goals, the qualities downloaded are specific to the client and their needs. For example, I had a client who was in a job she did not enjoy and was confused about what could be an alternate career. All she knew was that she wanted it to be something she enjoyed. When I connected intuitively, the guides advised us to download the qualities of her ideal financial Self. Within a couple of months, she had quit her job and was freelancing - a career she loved and one where opportunities seemed to keep opening up, meeting her financial goals as well.

3. A coach helps you think strategically and create a measurable action plan.

Being able to measure progress is critical for me. A client always knows what to look for as signs that an energy session is working. And often the results are more than we expect. A case in point is the client who mentioned her fear of driving at the end of a session. We did a one-minute energetic clearing which I anticipated would need more work before it took hold. To our delight, she got behind the wheel of her car the very next day and tackled hilly roads without anxiety. While we work towards an ideal version, every session has a clear action plan and measures to track getting closer to the goal. My corporate training taught me that one can define anything in quantifiable terms and I ensure to support my clients’ progress with that knowledge.

4. A coach keeps you accountable for the action you commit to taking.

Working with me involves committing to a 6 month plan. I only work with clients who are serious about their growth. And in my experience that requires committed, consistent effort over time, to see results that stick. The aim is to empower the client to live the best version of their life. Every session brings them closer to their goals and sheds light on the belief systems they need to let go of to live that empowered life. Between sessions, clients stay aware of how the belief systems show up in their lives and are given customised tools to consciously let go of disempowering beliefs. For some, it could be journalling, for some painting, for more mirror work, for some meditation. The guides download tools specific to what works best for the client.

5. Last but not least, a coach ensures you celebrate your wins.

The key here is that the client wins. This is achieved through

  • connecting to their ideal goals, not doable goals, not goals others think they can achieve, not compromised goals based on conditioning - IDEAL goals. Goals that they feel energised and excited about and that they can see in manifested reality.
  • Understand belief systems that hold them back and take action to replace them with empowering belief systems. This alone helps reduce anxiety, increase confidence and build awareness that improves the quality of their lives.
  • And if the above two are not reason enough to celebrate, the client also understands how to read their own energy and understand what is going on behind the scenes and what to do to feel better. I

often reconnect with clients after years who let me know they have continued the energetic practices and how that has kept old patterns in relationships or chronic pain away.

As an intuitive coach, I act as the Google Maps that guides people to their destinations. Sometimes I even help with clarifying that destination. The testament to my work is clients who keep coming back to up-level their experience of life. Clients then send their children or siblings or close friends or partners for the same up levelling. And clients who continue to put in the work for months, sometimes years just because high energy levels are addictive.

Over the last 15 years of using this ability I have realised it is the same as a chef who can tell you the ingredients of a dish in a few small bites. Or a perfumer who can tell you what is in the fragrance in just a few sniffs. We all have certain senses that are tuned to see more than others. Consistent effort and practice can lead to mastery in fine-tuning that ability. In my case, I have this sixth sense to help people live an empowered, freer, more aware life.

And that is what I mean when I say I am an intuitive coach.

I would love to answer any questions you have about my ability, my work, client testimonials or requests for interesting stories.
