The introvert's guide to work: Insights from Susan Cain

Introverts unite! Susan Cain talks about introversion, relationships, and self-discovery

Are you an introvert, or an extrovert? How sure about that are you?

I know that I am an extrovert. 1000%. But if we here at Hello Monday have learned one thing about our listeners over the last couple of years, it’s that a majority of you self-identify as introverts.

A couple months ago, when we launched our group on LinkedIn, I asked listeners to tell us five things about themselves. The most frequent thing to come up? Introversion.?So, I suggested we focus an episode on it.

Today’s guest wrote the definitive book on introverts more than10 years ago. Susan Cain is a bestselling author and an expert on introversion. Today, she’s going to walk us through two of her bestsellers - Quiet, and Bittersweet. We’ll learn how to understand ourselves better. And we’ll talk about how experiencing the fragility of life connects us all. Then we’ll get to the new norms involved in today’s version of the office–and how introverts can make the most of them.?
