Does The LinkedIn Open To Work Banner Make You Look Desperate?

This is another myth that has been doing the rounds on Social Media. So I ran a poll asking recruiters and employers. 89% said it doesn’t make you look desperate, with 11% saying it does. I think it’s safe to say that there isn't any real negative in using the Open To Work Banner.

A Year On TikTok

I started my TikTok channel in September 2023, the whole point of the channel was to help people in their job search by giving them a bunch of really honest no-nonsense job search advice.

12 months later I’m about to hit 60,000 followers which is absolutely insane.

I also decided to write a book, which I launched on Amazon in September: The No-Nonsense Guide To Job Searching . It’s crazy seeing something that you wrote on Amazon, even crazier that people are buying it!
