Overview: YOKO Management Consulting is a leading consulting company focusing on eldercare, healthcare, retirement community development, and aging population-related research. The company has three branches covering the whole Asia, U.S., and Europe market.
Mission: Provide professional eldercare and healthcare consultancy, including project development, facility management, service quality control, staff training, caregiver certification, international medical resources, facility investment, build eldercare and healthcare knowledge database, publish eldercare and healthcare annual White Paper and guidance, and build Eldercare and Healthcare knowledge Database. The utmost goal is improving the eldercare and healthcare service quality to directly benefit elderly people and patients, improve the overall healthcare quality and system for the Americans and the United States.
Vision: Work closely with government agencies and facilities to improve the public health system, learn from the COVID-19 pandemic, and create a prevention amp; quick response system for the United States. Lead the U.S. Healthcare Reform.
History: Founder; YOKO Management Consulting. YOKO Marikawa realized that Eldercare is not only an ethical social issue but also an economic issue, thus consequently decided to resolve Eldercare problems using economics. She pursued studies in economics including an Executive Master of Business Administration program at Fudan University, completing a master’s dissertation focusing on economic aspects of retirement communities in China in 2009, and created her original theory, the “Ageing Industry Three-Dimensional Chain Theory”.
The Ageing Industry Three- Dimensional Chain Theory gives a whole picture of the Ageing Industry by classifying the Ageing Industry into three big sections: dominant, linkage, and derivative sections, to explain the internal logic of the relationship between the three sections. It was evaluated as the first and the most important theory of the ageing industry. and has been widely cited by academia, governments, and media.
