Introduction of pig receiver and launcher and working principle

Pig receiver and launcher belongs to pipeline accessories and is widely used in various medium transportation pipelines. Generally installed at both ends of the main pipeline, it is used to launch and receive pigs, clean the pipeline with pigs and sweep the line before the pipeline is put into production, and clean wax, oil and scale after the pipeline is put into production.

The launcher device is generally made of steel pipes with the same diameter as the pipeline to be cleaned (or about 100 larger, because the size of the spheres varies), and the front end is equipped with a flange cover (for ball loading) and an air inlet (the size is determined by the air volume), and the rear end is installed with a flange cover (for ball loading) It is used to connect with pipelines, it can be welded or flanged (with reducing diameter), the length is determined according to the size of the sphere.

The receiver device is similar to the launcher device, except that the air release valve is set at the front (above) for pressure relief in the pipeline after the ball is received, and a sewage outlet is opened at the lower part to remove the sundries and liquid accumulation in the front of the ball.
