Recent advances in the field of healthcare suggest the importance of including the mind, body and spirit when treating patients, based on theory and empirical research from psychoneuroimmunology, traumatology, and spiritual psychology, amongst others. One way to strengthen the communication between the mind and body is through the skill of intuition. Like any other skill, intuitive abilities can be learned and optimized for greater clarity and application. By revealing the root causes and underlying drivers of illness, imbalance and disease, Medical Intuition offers a paradigm-shifting perspective in Integrative and Functional Medicine, as well as Complementary and Alternative modalities, for enhanced patient and client care, evaluation and diagnosis support.
