My Journey and the Recognition as a CO-100 Honoree

I’m excited to kick off this newsletter by sharing a little about my story and why I’m so passionate about marketing that’s built on relationships and value, not just sales. I began my entrepreneurial journey with Lisa's Clarinet Shop, a business dedicated to providing musicians with high-quality instruments, repair services, and repair and sales training courses. Over time, I realized that my passion extended beyond music—I wanted to help businesses grow, too. That’s when Sales Maven was born.

At Sales Maven, I work with small businesses and entrepreneurs to create marketing strategies that don’t rely on aggressive selling tactics but instead focus on building meaningful connections and sustainable growth. Recently, I had the honor of being named a CO-100 honoree, by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of the best and brightest 100 top small businesses in America. We competed with 14,000 other applicants to receive this recognition in the category of grit, innovation, and adaptability. It’s been a rewarding experience, and you can read more about it here.
