Introduction

I have been in the information technology space for over 20 years. One of the things I have always enjoyed about this industry is the rapid pace of change that has never stopped over the course of my lifetime. Looking forward, I cannot imagine it slowing down anytime soon. Our company has always worked to embrace this change to stay current and to ensure we are doing our best to help people with the most effective tools available at all times.

During my tenure as a business owner and CEO, I have learned a tremendous amount about leading people and teams. I could not be more proud of the team we have built at Need Computer Help and the team we will continue building into the future. Each member of our team is integral to our success in their individual capacity within our organization.

Leading a company has not always been easy. Our company was built from the ground up with a starting point of a severance package that covered my first few months of salary many years ago. I have made plenty of mistakes along the way and I have learned more than I ever envisioned when I started this journey.

My "why" in starting a newsletter is to help others. We have built our business with a focus on staying current with technology but also staying practical. We don't chase every shiny light that comes our way but we also never stay stagnant. I would like to demystify some of our methodology and help business owners, executives and others understand how technology can and should fit into your business. My goal for you is to help you leverage technology with a maximum ROI built on efficiency, availability and uptime while also minimizing risk from downtime, data loss or a cyberattack.

I want to thank several friends for their encouragement as well as leadership in starting their own newsletters. Watching you produce valuable content has inspired me to dedicate time to doing the same.

If you enjoy the content or find value in it, please consider subscribing to this newsletter for notifications of new articles. In the meantime, I hope you find benefit and enjoyment from reading.

Seriously you have always impressed the hell out of me. The start of this newsletter is humbling. So few in any industry recognize staff. This James is why I admire you as a Man and Business Owner you keep it real. Looking forward to continually reading your Newsletters.
