Smart hotels, environmentally friendly hotels, robot staff, virtual reality and augmented reality, and one-of-a-kind brand experiences are all popular trends in the tourism industry right now. All of these trends, such as the sharing economy, online travel agencies (OTAs), digital guest experiences, global tourism, young markets, and the power of social media, have had a long shelf life and are continuing to change the dynamics of the industry. The purpose of this task is to investigate the current and future trends that are affecting the tourism industry in general. For the purpose of this report, a study has been carried out on the future trends in tourism, and you will be required to compile a report based on your findings. Specifically, for this assignment, five previously published journal articles were researched, and data was gathered from those articles.

New money, reasonable airfare, business travel, and experience travel are the four largest drivers of the hospitality and tourism industries. Hospitality and tourism experts can assure sustained revenue development by addressing these factors. To commence with, there is new money. New money carries with it the financial means to accomplish lengthy ambitions, so it's no wonder that several freshly wealthy and moneyed?folks are opting for overseas travel. Individuals all throughout the globe prepare to spend their money on enjoyable activities instead of just saving for an unpredictable future when their salaries soar and their national economies are robust. The price of tickets is shrinking due to a combination of circumstances, including decreased fuel costs, enhanced airline rivalry, and the advent of low-cost airline companies. Although this is doom and gloom for the aviation industry, which relies on supplementary charges to boost profits, it is good news for customers who may get a greater bang for their buck (K?l??, Uyar, Kuzey and Karaman, 2021). The number of people travelling for business is expected to increase by 6% this year. As the epidemic persists and tourism industry participants anticipate a recovery, our study indicates that the post-crisis recovery would take several years, with corporate travel returning at a moderate speed than holidaymakers. Not just in terms of volume, but also in terms of revenue, corporate travel is important for accommodation providers and airlines.?While certain travel providers have minimal insight into business travel, it is a key source of revenue for several large airlines. Experiential travel, which has become a cliché in recent times, is indeed a key tourist engine. People are spending additional money on restaurants, vacations, and amusement rather than on tangible goods in general. In 2022, travellers will prioritize the experience. Many people enjoy travelling to see natural sights and sounds. Vacationers seeking peace, tranquillity, and relaxation enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking. My house is a refuge. Terrorism is known as one of the things which might be impacting the tourism business. If the visitors feel like there is a risk of terrorism, visitors will not travel to the destination.

Spread of infectious diseases the COVID-19 was the perfect example for that, the whole world had to shut down, people couldn’t travel and even with the borders open there are still people who are not confident enough to travel.

Growing recognition of the seriousness of climate change has been prompted in tourism policy and management. intervention as well as a core for the tourism sector to embrace the green economy. So, a lot of fingers are pointed at the tourism sector saying travel and tourism cause all of these effects on the climate effects on environment. the carbon dioxide emissions and the greenhouse gas emissions are detrimental to the environment and travel cannot take place without the transportation aspect of it (Ruan, Li and Liu, 2017).

Additionally, the innovation of technology came up from outside tourism. Intelligent well trained, more culturally conscious, more aware of the problems and more research-based labour forces will be required in the future to make understanding of the nature of tourism and have a professional outlook only tourism services and products.
