-Introduction to Hazardous Area Equip ; CompEx 01-04 ; HAET - IADC

OCS is please to advise that we have developed both “Self Education” and “On-line Tutored Virtual Classroom Training” for Hazardous Area Locations in the training courses outlined below.

1. Introduction to Hazardous Area Equipment –

This training course has been developed for personnel interested in a career in the field of maintenance and hazardous area equipment, or for those persons requiring general understanding and knowledge in this area, like supervisors or management or support positions. This course is a self-taught with several modules. This course is developed with animated functions with an Instructor dictating the training (this can be disabled if required). The training course is ideal for an introduction to Hazardous Area Equipment Training (HAET) or to prepare students that wish to take either CompEx 01-04, IECEx or the IADC certified HAET courses. The course follows IEC, standards and can be taken at your own pace at any time. 

2. CompEx 01 – 04

The theoretical part of the CompEx 01-04 can be delivered online, via a virtual classroom, with the instructor in attendance giving instruction as in the real classroom. Therefore, Students can ask questions as if they are in an actual classroom with live feedback from the instructor. The course covers theoretical aspect in preparation for the final examination. The practical training can be completed at a later date in an approved CompEx training school followed by the examinations. The student will be awarded the CompEx Certification after successful completion of the online course, and the practical element and the online final examinations at the training centre. This course covers the ATEX and IEC Standards.

The advantage of this training; Students will only have to attend the Approved CompEx center for 2 days and not the usual 5 days.  

3. HAET – IADC

The theoretical part of the IADC certified HAET course can be delivered online via a virtual classroom with the instructor in attendance giving instruction as in the real classroom. Students can ask questions as if they are in an actual classroom with live feedback from the trainer. The course covers theoretical aspect in preparation for the final examination. The practical training can be completed at a later date in the training school followed by the examinations. The student will be awarded the IADC Certification after completion of the online course and practical training only if successful in the theoretical, practical and final examination. This course covers the following Standards: IEC, APi and NEC.

The advantage of this training: Students will required be required to attend the training for the full 4 days.
