Introduction to the Corporate Transparency Act

The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) takes effect January 1, 2024. Every new entity will have to file information with FinCEN and if not face severe penalties. By 2025 all reporting entities will have to file. ?It is estimated that 32 million entities will have to report beneficial ownership information (BOI) on owners and those with substantial control.
