Moving to the Cloud can be a paradigm shift for most people and oraganizations. More people are used to servers and hardwares for unknown reasons and it certainly was a shock for the early adopters. As we are moving towards more automated and organised solution you'll start thinking about service delivery in a new Cloud oriented way as we move our business computing needs into the Cloud, you need to decide what it is you want from the Cloud.
It could be a website, an email system and bundle of services or a data crunching application. The key thing is to think of cloud computing as a service orientated model rather than just a bunch of servers in a data center.
The end product that you get is the service, not the hardware. We saw earlier that your data security requirements may impact on your cloud choices as you need to decide which type of cloud deployment you will go for. This could be public, private, or hybrid. You also need a clear picture of who is providing what service, as this will help you choose the correct cloud service model.
For example, do you want Microsoft to provide email services for you via Office 365, or just the infrastructure and you will install exchange server onto it In the next movie will consider the different cloud service models that are available.
People have gradually able to understand that they no more reuqire servers and for that matter the same IT Resources can be now utilized for entering all the usefull data and get useful insights.
