Introducing...Say More About That - the ADVICE COLUMN NEWSLETTER!

As we've shared over the past few weeks, even when it's difficult, there is ALWAYS a way to say something.

How we say it to get our point across is key. From the language you choose to your body language or your tone, mastering a few basics can help you more confidently challenge others or speak up when necessary.?

We are so excited to announce that on the heels of our incredible 6-week LinkedIn Audio Tour for Say More About That, we're continuing these important conversations and providing ongoing scripts and tips to help you speak up.

This will be an advice column featuring speak-up tips and scripts by me - author and inclusion strategist Amber Cabral , edited by brand strategist and writer Amanda Miler Littlejohn .

With each issue of this newsletter, we'll be answering questions from YOU - our LinkedIn network.

We'll take your questions and workplace conundrums advice column-style, and give you recommended language and tactics to advocate for yourself.

Write to us when you're experiencing microaggressions, a power differential, blatant disrespect, interruptions, or intimidation.

Write to us when you're a witness who wants to speak up as an ally.

Write to us with your challenges, specific scenarios, and conundrums and we'll give you the scripts - and LANGUAGE - to achieve an equitable outcome.

Best of all - you can share your situation anonymously if you so choose.

This is a newsletter for anyone who wants to learn to better advocate for themselves or be an ally for others in the workplace.

This newsletter and advice column is meant to help you build the tools to call out bad behavior, for when we fail to call it out, we give it permission to PERSIST.?

Submit your questions for an upcoming issue of the newsletter using this form .

Remember: you can't call yourself an ally if you're unwilling to speak up and call out offensive behavior.

By speaking up, we can all begin to shift culture and create the inclusive workplaces we want to see.
