Introducing...Jeremy Woolf Consulting

Introducing...Jeremy Woolf Consulting

It's been awhile, LinkedIn Community. I think when I last wrote, I was full of optimism as I embarked on a new role. There were phrases like "great adventure", and I shared lessons I'd learned during my search. 820 views, 112 likes and 35 comments filled me with endorphins.

But, in the immortal words of The Rolling Stones, you can't always get what you want.

Things didn't work out. Long story, best told over flat whites or beers. So I now find myself back in the world of looking for my next, next thing (again).

Hence the introduction to something cryptically (or not) called 'Jeremy Woolf Consulting'. Right now, JWC (not to be confused with JWT - yet) is my little corner of the interweb, a place where I can promote and sell, well, Jeremy Woolf.

I'm offering a range of services, and hoping they'll be valued by agencies and brands alike. Things like Business Development Consulting, Copywriting, Temporary Staff Cover and Executive Social Media Influence. My logic in doing this was simple - I'm looking to do meaningful work on a contract / project basis. And these are things I've done pretty well over the past three decades or so.

I've already started meetings with a few prospective clients, and have met some good small agencies that would make fine partners. Not sure where all of this goes, but it could be the beginning of a little shop...

And, always the bet-hedger, I'm also keeping my eyes open for a great full time communications role, but realize finding the right role is a marathon (and my sprinting days are behind me).

So, LinkedIn Community, like all good networking sessions, I have a couple of asks for those that have made it through 287 words.

  1. First off, let me know what you think about all this - either in the comments or message me. I'd love some feedback.
  2. Second, if you - or someone you know - is in need of consulting from Jeremy Woolf, give me a shout. As those who know me will attest, I've always got an opinion...

I?know you'll nail it! Having spent a big chunk of the past decade in small business there's a lot to be said for it, if you can be self motivated and flexible. Motivation and innovation are totally your things!
