Drive impact with AI Companion

Zoom Workplace is powered by Zoom AI Companion, an AI assistant that helps you supercharge your productivity throughout your workday. AI Companion summarizes meetings and chat threads to help you stay updated, helps you brainstorm ideas on whiteboards for stronger team collaboration, and composes chats and email drafts in a few seconds. AI Companion is designed to enhance the quality of your work and give you time back in your busy day. With our newly announced Zoom Phone capabilities, you can be more productive during and after phone calls with post-call summaries, voice mail prioritization, task extraction, and more.?

Coming soon, Ask AI Companion is a new capability that will be included with AI Companion. Ask AI Companion will be able to gather, synthesize, and share critical information from multiple sources across the Zoom platform and from select third-party applications. Ask AI Companion will also be able to complete routine tasks on your behalf, like creating meeting preparation materials with relevant content such as meeting summaries and chat threads, drafting agendas, and brainstorming ideas. Ask AI Companion will be available throughout Zoom Workplace, so your AI-powered digital assistant is always at your fingertips, helping to elevate your performance and free up your schedule.

Collaborate easily before, during, and after meetings

A lot of our workdays revolve around meetings — preparing for, attending, and acting on the decisions made in them. As part of Zoom Workplace, you will see a new Meetings tab, which supports traditional calendar views and will streamline the entire meeting lifecycle (time spent before, during, and after meetings) to easily share information and collaborate.

• Before meetings, you will be able to attach pre-meeting materials and agendas and chat with attendees from the meeting card. No more hunting for your agenda before the meeting starts! And with Ask AI Companion, you’ll be able to have help preparing for the meeting as well.
• During meetings, you will be able to access, share, and collaborate on pre-attached materials or access documents from third-party apps, even if they are not attached to the meeting invite. You’ll also be able to share multiple screens and collaborate on different documents, whiteboards, and notes at the same time. And to help make document collaboration across Zoom, Microsoft, and Google more seamless, we’re introducing new co-editing and permission management capabilities for Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive assets so you don’t have to waste additional time giving everyone access to documents.
• After meetings, there won’t be a need to look around in different places for the recordings or files that might have been shared by attendees. From your calendar view, you’ll be able to access recordings, use AI Companion to find important information, continue the conversation outside of the meeting thanks to continuous meeting chat, invite additional participants to view the recording, and access shared content — everything you need, all in one spot.

With the introduction of Zoom Workplace, you’ll also notice a refreshed user experience in Meetings with a simplified toolbar, a multi-speaker view highlighting active speakers so you can follow the discussion easier, and more. And in and out of meetings, you will be able to choose how things look with four different color themes.

Help your team be more organized with Team Chat innovations

Along with Zoom Meetings, Zoom Team Chat is a hub for collaboration at work. We believe that everyone should have access to the best collaboration tools, which is why Team Chat is included in Zoom Workplace at no additional cost. And it continues to expand its value. Shared spaces in Team Chat will let you create a grouping of channels to better organize conversations and share those groupings with relevant team members. New Team Chat tabs will also help you stay organized by keeping channel-related assets like links, whiteboards, and resources in a single view — you’ll even be able to collaborate on the assets and chat at the same time.

Zoom Workplace helps streamline everything you need to do your best work, and with Team Chat as your centralized home for asynchronous communication, you can say goodbye to hunting for documents and chats across multiple tools and meeting notes.

With our upcoming workflow automation capability, you’ll be able to help improve your team’s productivity by automating Team Chat workflows across Zoom, third-party apps, and internal business applications. Workflows can be configured to follow sequential and conditional logic to automate complex and redundant tasks like scheduling a recurring message, moving through approval flows, and welcoming a new user to the chat channel.

Increase employee engagement by reaching your entire workforce?

Effective collaboration isn’t just about having the right tools in place to stay connected. It’s also about employee relationships and trust — in each other and in the organization as a whole.?

Optimize in-person time and flexible work

We’re all figuring out how to navigate flexible work and make the in-office experience worthwhile for employees. A 2024 Harvard Business Review article reported that 60% of employees felt the costs — financial, time, and energy — associated with going into an office daily outweighed the benefits of in-office time. Organizations can’t rely on outdated setups to keep employees engaged and productive in the office.

In Zoom Workplace, you’ll find a Workspaces tab to help employees optimize their in-person time and collaborate better with those outside the office. Whether you’re reserving your desk with Workspace Reservation, preparing for a client visit with Visitor Management, or finding your workstation with our wayfinding feature, you will be able to do it all from the Workspaces tab.

Zoom Rooms help optimize your different spaces for hybrid meetings. With our new companion Zoom Rooms, you’ll be able to easily pair a Zoom Rooms for Touch device with a Zoom Room and use additional inputs like the camera from the companion device for added functionality.

AI-powered capabilities like intelligent director help make meetings more inclusive by allowing remote attendees to see and engage with their in-person colleagues. Coming soon, smart name tags will make it easier to connect by allowing other meeting participants to see your name when you're in a Zoom Room. These features enable better collaboration and connection between remote employees and in-office meeting participants.
