YouMail Protective Services, the B2B services division of YouMail, Inc., provides solutions for communications service providers (CSP) and the enterprise ecosystem. In support of service delivery, YouMail Protective Services relies upon a team of experts as well as data from billions of calls and thousands of calling campaigns. These services leverage the same data used by authorities to sanction bad actors, and/when necessary, support actions against offending traffic originators.
These services enable CSPs to comply with FCC requirements under the TRACED Act to mitigate unwanted robocalls. This includes solutions for real-time mitigation (blocking, labeling, redirection) as well as visibility into telephone number reputation and ongoing behaviors.
YouMail Protective Services also prevents bad actors from impersonating brands in their fraud campaigns. This starts with detection of incidents in which imposters are engaging in trademark infringement/enterprise impersonation and/or inferring an unsubstantiated relationship with a brand. Continuous monitoring and mitigation are key components along with detailed intelligence about campaign types, frequency, and sources.

Robocall Mitigation Solutions for Communication Service Providers

Telephone number scoring as a service derived via content-based analytics. Data analyzed includes audio content associated with unwanted robocalls received by the public. Data is captured primarily by the YouMail Sensor Network via messages left by robocallers to YouMail app users, which represent real consumers and small to medium sized businesses.
Service provides probability of telephone number association with three important categories of unwanted robocall behaviors: (1) Spam, (2) Unlawfulness, and (3) Fraud. YouMail Score is relied upon by YouMail PS customers and partners including CSPs, enterprises, and third-party vendors for informed decision making.
YouMail Watchlist
Telephone number behavior as a service via content-based analytics. Data analyzed includes audio content associated with unwanted robocalls received by the public. This data is captured primarily by the YouMail Sensor Network via messages left by robocallers to YouMail app users, which represent actual consumers as well as small to medium sized businesses.
The service provides visibility into usage behaviors including identification of audio content from unwanted robocalls that may be associated with telephone numbers of interest. The service requires registration of owned and/or managed telephone numbers. YouMail Watchlist is an excellent complement to Know Your Customer processes and procedures as it provides the critical monitoring component to KYC.
YouMail Clear
Traffic analysis as a service via a combination of CSP data analysis and content-based analytics. CSP data analysis requires the CSP to provide YouMail with network traffic data, which may be transmitted via call detail records and/or real-time interfaces such as SIP messaging.
The content-based analytics portion relies upon audio content associated with unwanted robocalls received by the public. This data is captured primarily from messages left by robocallers to YouMail app users, which represent actual consumers as well as small to medium sized businesses. The service represents a fully integrated network solution that analyzes every communication instance handled by the CSP with comparative analysis to data independently captured by the YouMail Sensor Network.

Brand Monitor
This service provides surveillance of brand identity over the voice channel. This includes explicit unauthorized brand name mentions as part of vishing (voice phishing) scams as well as implied references to brand relationships. Customers are notified upon detection of potential trademark infringement and/or inappropriate brand mentions including incidences involving unlawful behavior or ill intent associated with voice calls. Brands will be informed regarding the potential impact of the impersonation incidents including call volume of bad actor campaigns.
YouMail Watchlist for Businesses
This solution enables telephone number owners to understand the general "health" of DIDs and toll free numbers as well as identify those impacted by unwanted robocall campaigns. Enterprise customers can also identify specific unwanted robocall campaign narrative and audio affecting their numbers. This is instrumental in identifying spoofing as well as unlawful prerecorded audio associated with legitimate telephone number users. YouMail Score for Enterprise
This solution provides the ability to protect enterprise assets such as IP-PBX and call centers from unwanted robocalls. YouMail Score does this through its industry-leading telephone number behavior database, which is powered by its unique approach that leverages AI, machine learning and content-based analytics.
