Introducing Will Vochelli, Reimagine Power's Content Curator

Will Vochelli (he/him) is the Content Curator for Reimagine Power. Over the past eight months, he has demonstrated the importance of quality and team collaboration.

Will attended Los Angeles Film School where he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation and Visual Effects with a concentration in Game Art. After graduating in April of 2023, he had difficulty finding employment in his desired field in part due to a writers’ strike. Through personal connections, Will synched up with our Senior Policy Analyst, Allison Hilliard , and swiftly joined the Reimagine Power team. Though the energy industry did not cross his path during his time at LA Film School, he has taken it upon himself to learn more about energy issues, specifically in California.?

“I have enjoyed this industry more than I expected to and through my self-education, have grown a passion for energy and the issues that affect both our world and locally, in California,” Will stated. Learning more about energy projects, technology, legislation, and the energy industry as a whole has helped spark his excitement for California’s energy rights.

While working with Reimagine Power, Will enjoys his autonomy over his schedule and the freedom he has to be creative and collaborative with our team. Some of his most recent work includes interviewing every team member and curating a Team Highlight for our LinkedIn account. This project was both interesting and exciting for him because he had the opportunity to connect with each Reimagine Power teammate individually, which can be difficult when working remotely. Will’s efforts on this project and ongoing work perfectly exemplify Reimagine Power’s company culture, collaborative values, and creative energy.?

Currently, Will spends his free time playing the piano and ukulele, listening to his favorite musician, Laufey, or watching interesting and enticing television shows, like the “Dead to Me” series on Netflix. Looking into 2024, Will is excited to continue learning more about the energy industry, highlighting his teammates' achievements through open communication streams, and expanding Reimagine Power’s digital footprint. He also plans to spend more of his free time outside and building deeper relationships with friends and peers.

Will has been a wonderful addition to the Reimagine Power culture and team. We are excited to continue fostering his growth and knowledge in the wonky world that is energy.
