Introducing the UX Design Awards – Autumn 2023 Nominees!

We are thrilled to announce the selection of nominees for the UX Design Awards – Autumn 2023 edition. Out of a pool of 544 participants representing 54 countries, the #UXDA23 -jury has tapped 158 projects to compete in this global competition, celebrating excellence in user experience.?

We invite you to explore the nominees in an online exhibition on the UX Design Awards website. And here’s where you come in! Users worldwide are encouraged to champion their favorite project by participating in the online poll for the UX Design Award | Public Choice, which is open until 31 August.

Among the nominees, 99 entries are in the running for the professional “Product” and “Concept” Awards. The competition is fierce, with participants ranging from up-and-coming start-ups to industry giants like Samsung, Philips, NEFF, and Continental. Renowned consultancies and agencies such as EY, Knowit, Valtech, Edenspiekermann, and Experience One have also brought their expertise to the mix. Prepare to be inspired by the breadth and depth of innovative solutions across various sectors.

Trends in this year’s nominees reflect cutting-edge developments – pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and enhancing user experiences in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. Robotics, healthcare, finance, marketing, data analytics, IT security, and enterprise software are just a few areas where AI plays a vital role, enabling users to make informed decisions based on extensive data sets.

The “New Talent” category nominees include entries from some of the world’s most renowned educational institutions. Hongik University, HTW Berlin, Politecnico di Milano, Royal College of Art, Ume? Institute of Design, Tongji University, Carnegie Mellon, and ArtCenter College of Design are among the schools that have contributed exceptional projects that showcase the skills and creativity of emerging designers.

This year, several of the 59 “New Talent” projects tackle crucial societal challenges –?from healthcare solutions catering to children, the elderly, and marginalized individuals to advancements in education, personal safety, mindfulness, and data privacy.?
