Introducing TodayTix Group

We started TodayTix eight years ago because we believed in the power of theater. We believed that the arts were necessary for a healthy and booming economy, rich with culture and creative energy.  We believed that theater-goers should represent our world better, and that well-balanced, enlightened, and curious audiences build communities. We believed that creating access for everyone meant selling tickets to shows that challenge our perceptions, reset expectations, change lives, break boundaries, break records, or, ideally, all of the above. We believed in our industry, and in the thousands of people who worked hard to push us forward. Perhaps most of all, we believed in its resilience. And that’s why, this morning, I’m introducing TodayTix Group.

At a time when the theater industry is seeing its darkest days, it’d be easy to hunker down and to shift our attention to safer and simpler endeavors. But that’s not why we got into the ticketing business. We’re here to be a small but ambitious part of connecting audiences to creators in new and sustainable ways.  We’re here because we know our passion, people, and products can come together to find new ways for the theater to move forward.  We’re here because we love being a part of a community of industry professionals that works tirelessly, through it all, to ensure the show will go on.

Becoming TodayTix Group brings together, under one roof, our TodayTix brand with leading platforms like Encore and Show-Score, and hundreds of the world’s best travel and lifestyle channels.  It opens up an expansive consumer ecosystem, powerful analytics, and a suite of products and channels designed to optimize and develop unique relationships with theater’s best. 

With a roster including over 2,000+ theatres, producers, and cultural institutions globally, TTG provides a one-stop-shop that’s not one-size-fits-all. From Sydney to San Francisco, Sondheim to Shakespeare, producer to theatergoer, we’re working harder and smarter to get theater back on its feet. We’re working through this devastating pandemic and shutdown with a common and shared goal: to get all of us to the theater. 

As TodayTix, we were able to facilitate those experiences for many. As TodayTix Group, we’re expanding our reach in hopes of fulfilling our ultimate mission to find a seat for everyone.  We’re continuing to invest in the belief that everyone is ever-changing, and our work will never be done. We’re forging ahead toward a better, more diverse, future for theatre. And we can only grow if we make space for others to sit at the table.
