Introducing Software AG's Global Partner Program: PartnerConnect!
At Software AG, our partners are the cornerstone of our business growth. Underscoring just how much we value these crucial relationships, we recently unveiled our new global partner program, PartnerConnect. The updated program will ensure more partners are able to deliver on customers’ evolving needs today and in the future. As we continue to make long-term investments in our channels, I wanted to share a bit more here about those investments, what the new program looks like, and how it will help partners meet customers where they are.
The Time is Now
These changes come at a critical time, meeting the needs of modern organizations amid current challenges. It goes without saying that it's been a difficult time for many people and businesses. The dynamic of working with current customers and prospecting with potential customers has all changed. Like many organizations, our company strategy has shifted, and we are leveraging our teams differently. We’re working closely with our partners on ways to better market their solutions and stay close to customers in a remote world. We've also aligned our sales teams to work more closely with partners on current opportunities. Meanwhile, trends like cloud, mobile, IoT and big data are changing how businesses connect with consumers and each other. To seize this market opportunity and properly guide customers through their transformation, partners require software that opens data and connects apps, devices and people.

With all of this in mind, we felt it was the right time to clearly articulate Software AG’s vision for our partner community. Our updated core beliefs, which are rooted in simplicity, are:

Meaningful Changes for More Meaningful Relationships that Create Value
As part of this enhanced vision and updated program, we’ve also invested resources in ensuring consistent global partner enablement. Partners have automated self-service access through a robust and proven infrastructure to provide fully automated self-service access to training, content and collateral via single sign-on through the PartnerHub and Learning Portal. We’ve combined self-study content with formal training and external sources to build skills and competencies around Software AG products and solutions, and prepare for badging and certification.
Our new tiered levels give partners the opportunity to grow with Software AG, gradually increasing their commitment for additional benefits and incentives; while new rules of engagement provide our partners
and field team with a defined and cohesive way to work together. As we make these changes and evolve our partner program, our partner community is growing rapidly with the help of our Partner Managers and Distribution partners. Our partners are building skills, implementing services with post-sales services, and quickly seeing ROI for their investment and efforts.
Cumulatively, these updates and changes will help us better connect with our existing and new partners, and will help partners meet changing customer needs and increase profit. I’m grateful to my team for the hard work they’ve done to ensure our partners have the best possible resources available to them. From the top down, we are committed to providing our partners with hands-on support and engagement. Together, we have a tremendous market opportunity in front of us.
