Introducing SO-COL Platform Features [Phase 1]

SO-COL fam, are you ready? We’re launching our SO-COL platform at the end of October and deploying a mobile-friendly version early November. SO-EXCITIIIIING!

Wait — some of you still don’t know what our platform is about? In a sentence, we’re a web3 community management platform by creators, for creators, that helps you to build, govern and own your?communities with ease. SO…What can you do, as a creator, on SO-COL?

1. Set up a community, that you own 100%, like an NFT (well it is).

As a creator, you can mint your community like you would an NFT (it essentially is) which you fully own, on-chain. We don’t own it, you do. It’s not like on web2 platforms where the platform owns it. When you sign up as a creator, you create your community, minted on the blockchain. This community is set up by default with a public chat and public feed.

2. Monetise your content through Premium Collectables

Your new community is set up with a public feed and public chat automatically, but you can also make premium channels. The premium channels are gated by Premium Collectables (NFTs) you create, giving you the opportunity and power to monetise your best content and other benefits. This gives your audience something in return, access to more exclusive content, entry to next events, post- or during live event up content etc. Oh and you, the creator, get to set the values of your NFTs, as you know your worth best. You can earn royalties on these collectables even when they get traded between fans. The value of your collectables can also grow when your community grows as your audience expands.

Some illustrated examples of what utilities, aka benefits/perks/gifts, you can create for your NFT-holders. Make every NFT a “utility” NFT so it’s more meaningful for the fans who literally invest in you.

3. Reward fans with quality time (with you) on the SO-PRIVATE DMs

There are only so many DMs a creator can read in a day and you want to make sure you’re spending your time on meaningful conversations. Your fans can bid for a 24-hour access window to slide into your SO-PRIVATE DMs and have a meaningful chat with you. The fan with the highest bid earns their spot with some quality time, for 24h. This makes it possible for you to identify your most loyal fans and connect with them on a more personal level after weeding out all the other DMs.

SO…What can you do, as a fan, on our platform?

1. Explore and join all the wonderful communities on SO-COL

As a user - a fan - you can explore all the communities in the “Explore communities” tab or check out the top communities that have the best creations, or the biggest communities, in “Top communities”. You can join or leave them whenever you want. Every community has a public chat and public feed. In the public chat, you can chat with other members of the community. And in the public feed, you can discover what the creator of the community has posted, all for free. If you love it, give it a like!

2. Take it to the next level by purchasing Premium Collectables to join the communities’ premium channels.

Click on any premium channels, doesn’t matter if it’s the chat or the feed. See the ones with the diamond icon after the name? You will need to buy Premium Collectables for access to this particular gated channel. We’ve made it SO-EASY to buy a Premium Collectable (NFT) - you even have the option to pay with fiat i.e. credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay etc. YES. Once you have purchased it, you automatically gain access to the respective gated channel. The bonus is that you get a cool collectable that shows your support for the creator of the community that you can keep for life and get updates on special perks, early access, generous discounts; all with this proof that you are an OG fan.

3. Slide into the SO-Private DMs to talk to your favourite creator

Your DMs will no longer be lost in the creator’s flooded DMs. Yay! As a registered user, you can also use our “SO-Private” feature to bid for your private chat session with the creator of the community. Win the bid and talk to your favourite creator one-on-one. How? Join the community that was created by the creator you would like to chat with, and then click on “Start” under “SO-Private” pop up. You will also automatically get 3 free messages! A good opportunity to tell them why you wanna chat. After the bid has successfully gone through, all you have to do is wait for the creator to start the private chatting session with you. SO-COOL right?
