Introducing the SM UK Demonstration Vehicle!

Following our break into the Van Conversion market a little over a year ago, we're pleased to report that we have been received well, and have already assisted a large number of businesses in the North of the UK in improving their working efficiency, but also making sure their fleet of vans are fit for purpose. SM UK have been operating in the HGV safety system market now for almost 20 years, and by using this knowledge the decision was made to investigate improving van fleet safety too.

As we are associated with companies such as Sortimo, Rhino Products and ECCO Safety, we thought it best to create a 'portable showroom' by installing the more popular products onto one vehicle!

These product systems can help to improve your professionalism, efficiency and help you to have your vehicle fit for purpose before it hits the road (if you're expecting a brand new vehicle). What do these brands manufacture..?

Onboard Power Systems

• The capability to use your vehicle as a portable work station is becoming more of a demand with the development of technology and requirements on sites. We've installed an example of a 12 volt power point and a 24 volt power point depending on the power level required.

Brigade Camera Systems

• We've held a relationship with Brigade for a large number of years now, so much so that we are proud to say we are a Brigade Service Partner! By using this knowledge from applying their safety systems onto HGV's, we can also apply these systems onto your vans too. Our demo van has a 5 camera system with a 5 inch monitor installed. We also installed 2 security cameras in the load area of vehicle too.

ECCO Safety Lights

• Safety and warning lights are becoming more of a necessity when it comes to accessing construction sites, and other such jobs as safety standards are raised. We've installed front and rear LED strobe lights onto our van, as well as a 4 ft 2-mod LED beacon bar.

Sortimo Racking Solutions

• Sortimo's racking solutions are lightweight, yet strong, safe and crash tested. As well as looking far more professional, their systems can be fully customised depending upon your vehicle' purpose and the industry you operate in. We've installed one of their latest systems - SR5 - into our van with a fair few extras. The whole system can be fully customised!

Rhino Products

• Rhino manufacture external storage solutions which include roof rails, rear steps and safe ladder storage systems. On our demo vehicle, we've installed their AccessStep with the added parking sensors.
