This is a striking single-family brownstone in Brookline near Audubon Circle.? NEDC did essentially the entire home in a custom design, executed in phases as an Architectural Design Build project.

The Custom Design & Remodeling scope included the following:

• Custom Master Bath with a wet area, dual showers leading to a standalone bath
• Custom Stairwell
• First floor + kitchen,?
• Fourth floor living space
• Custom Guest suite with a beautiful exposed ceiling, including a beautiful Murphy bed + bathroom and access to the roof.?

?This home was out of date with the existing?rooms markedly segregated - previously the kitchen and living area with the fireplace were two separate rooms with butlers stairs leading to the basement which we re-routed completely.?

?

The clients wanted to update everything without losing the Edwardian era character of the house.?To do this NEDC intentionally used modern materials and appliances with a more traditional style to revive the original character and beauty of the home.?

This style of brownstone is called an Edwardian Era Bow Front Row House.
