Introducing Oxx

Today I'm delighted to announce the launch of Oxx, a new growth capital investment firm.

Mikael Johnsson and I have founded Oxx to invest in B2B scale-up stage software companies with serious commercial traction originating in the UK, the Nordics and Israel. We invest in really good businesses and we support them in becoming great.

From our combined experience at Amadeus, Investor Growth Capital and Apax we bring fundamental beliefs to what we do. The entrepreneur is always the hero of the story. We collaborate. Our goal is always ambitious – nothing short of category leadership – but we get there from solid foundations and we never lose sight of reality. Our perspective is international with a particular focus on helping companies win in the US.

Oxx is a spin-out from Amadeus and we're grateful to our friends and colleagues there for their support. They are now concentrating on two areas – UK early stage venture capital and emerging market growth capital – and we wish them every success with these. Oxx and Amadeus will continue to work together in the future as Oxx supports the companies in which Mikael and I have invested there.

These companies – ForeScout, Clicktale, ThinkTank, Celltick, Relayware and Openbravo – pepper the spread of geographies and segments we cover within the domain of B2B software, and we take great pride in the achievements of each one of them.
