Introducing our newest brand

Introducing our newest brand

Ever since I was little girl, I had felt trapped by the belief that I was called to use all of my gifts to their utmost and, that, at the same time, I was expected to be humble. It was a conundrum because my gifts were exactly what landed me at the front of the room, top of the class, center of attention and that certainly what I viewed as a humble position.

I did not know how to shine and not shine at the same time.

It was paralyzing.

It took me nearly two decades to sort out that being humble isn’t about pretending to be something you’re not. It’s about owning the truth about yourself and being neither depressed nor inflated by it. Gifts are gifts. You get what you get and then you get to use what you get. THAT’S the fun part! Learning to use my gifts, to figure out what shining in all of my own best and brightest self really truly looked and looks like has been my lifes’ journey ever since.

My new brand, Luceat (a Latin word meaning "let it shine") was finally brought to life in November of 2019.   That word, Luceat, transformed before my eyes into the embodiment of my brand. A call to action that had, long ago, felt like a prison sentence was transformed into a word of liberation and blossomed into a powerful brand.

The brand was finally ready but the truth of the matter was that I wasn't ready for it.

And then, August 17th, 2020, my Dad, my champion, my hero, my sounding board and confidante, died. His battle with cancer was one we didn't even know was happening until his final days on this earth. It was a gut-wrenching blow.

As hard and sad and crushing as his passing was, it was equally catalytic.

It spurred me on to launching Luceat, not as a break-away brand, but as an evolution of my best work, a development and bold statement of all of the things that make my clients succeed – sometimes even beyond their wildest dreams.

You see, my clients move from success to success, not because my business advice is brilliant (although it is!), not because I can help them hone their sales skills to reach the two-comma level (although I can and do!), not even because I guide them in putting some method to their magic – they succeed because I help them redefine what success means to them. I help them get undeniably crystal clear on their trajectory so that decisions become easy, next steps are strikingly evident and the will to put them all into action exists effortlessly.

Make no mistake, success is challenging. It forces you to reconcile with yourself. It requires that you step forward into the person you are becoming. It demands that you leap – sometimes well before you feel ready.

Success is challenging but it doesn’t have to be grueling.

You do not have to grind endlessly or hustle yourself to an early grave to be successful. You do not have to sacrifice your happiness. You do have to work. You have to work smart. You sometimes have to work darn hard. You cannot manifest yourself into millions without doing the work.

But you can put down the burden of all of the “shoulds”.

You can stop beating yourself up with the shame of doing less than you originally imagined you could or would. You can let go of the feeling of being not quite good enough.  You can be happy, even now, as you work towards your dreams. You do not have to wait!

You are enough.

You are exactly where you are supposed to be in this moment.

You can shine brightly from where you are now.

There is no should in success.

You get to choose what you want and then you get the great joy of going after it!

THAT, my friends, is exactly what Luceat is all about. Knowing yourself and allowing yourself to want what you and to go get it. Getting to define success and then getting to be successful. Getting to enjoy the journey. Learning to love the stretch.

You get to shine. It's your privilege, not your prison. You get to shine your own unique individual light in exactly your own way. There is no one on this earth or in the heavens who is exactly like you.

You are and have within you a beautiful, brilliant, unique light.

Let it shine!

Luceat all the way!
