Introducing our new Vice President of Operations: Massimo Laglia

Welcome our latest member to the Procemsa Group, Massimo Laglia. On the 2nd October, Massimo stepped into the role of Group VP Operations, and we couldn't be more excited about the fresh perspectives and expertise he brings to our Senior Leadership Team.

In his new capacity, Massimo will spearhead all things related to Industrial Operations, logistics, quality, procurement, and the expansion of our group's manufacturing capabilities.?

With a Mechanical Engineering degree and over two decades of international experience in various industries, including medical devices, food-agro, and pet products, Massimo is poised to lead us to even greater heights ?? He also spent more than 20 years covering managerial and top management positions in companies such as J&J, Nestlè, Straumann Group, De Matteis Alimentari.

In his own words, Massimo shares the passion he brings to his role:?

"I started my career as a project engineer, a technical role where I had the chance to satisfy my curiosity for machines and processes. I’ve always wanted to understand how things work from the inside."?

His love for creating strong, high-performing teams and commitment to fostering individual growth is evident. Massimo's dedication to coaching and building safe, collaborative environments aligns perfectly with our Procemsa ethos ??

Massimo also stated:

“When I eventually became a people manager, I discovered the beauty of leading people and the great responsibility that comes with it. I take this responsibility very seriously.?

I always strive to make a positive impact on the people I have the chance to work with; this is what motivates me more than anything, together with the passion for improving processes and achieving goals.

I believe there are plenty of opportunities for the Procemsa Group to continue to develop excellent teams and excellent people, in Operations and beyond, and I am looking forward to giving my contribution and possibly leaving a small, positive mark on the lives of the people I am fortunate to work with.”

Massimo's expat journey, spanning 15 years, has seen him working across Switzerland and Germany, with his family by his side. Together, they've built a global network of friends, and they're exceptionally proud of their children's achievements ??

Massimo expressed:

“Me and my wife are very proud of our two kids, who have completed their Masters and started their career, respectively in Zurich and London.”
