Introducing our new Erica website ??

This is the year to monitor and control energy consumption on your site, you can reduce costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions by using Erica.

Erica, which stands for Energy Reduction through Information, Control and Automation, is our Energy Management System which was created, built and maintained by our in-house team of experts.

Having close partnerships with our customers, the team designed Erica to assist with their sustainability goals and to elevate our distribution boards by adding smart technology. ?Our experienced team of engineers install a module into our distribution boards, the module is then connected to the internet, which sends energy consumption data to our online dashboard. On the dashboard you can monitor energy usage and use the schedular to control when energy is used onsite.

We have a great team of Erica experts who can send across detailed reports of your energy consumption, which is a great tool as you can see what to improve on, for example, downsizing your generator or it can be as simple as using the Erica schedular to turn power off during the weekends. There are so many cost and energy saving solutions you can investigate, and our support team can talk you through them. We will go through what is included in the report later but for now let’s talk about sectors.

So, you are probably thinking this is great but which sectors can use Erica, well it has been implemented within the film and tv, events and the construction industry. There are specific benefits for some of these sectors, for the Film and TV industry it is about identifying the right size power source for unit bases and to provide power data for Albert sustainability reporting. For the events industry, we can assist in controlling energy consumption for trade stalls and to prevent energy wastage. Construction sites are interesting as Erica can enable significant energy reductions in compounds. On a recent construction site, energy savings was just over 30%! ?

Now the main part of implementing Erica is of course the great energy and costs savings, but to make the change you need to know how much energy your site is consuming. Our detailed report gives you fantastic information and really digs deep into your site’s energy usage.
