Several years ago, I started this LinkedIn newsletter as a way to help entrepreneurial lawyers dig deeper into their passions (and as a result, build more successful businesses).?
I haven’t posted here in a couple years…and a lot has changed.?
Recently, I launched a new podcast called The NewLaw Podcast for Entrepreneurial Lawyers.?
It’s all about turning an ordinary law practice into a business you truly love.
Because far too many lawyers get into law because they want to change the world, only to discover that so much of how we DO law is flawed and broken.
You can become jaded and frustrated so easily when you discover that so much of the dream you were sold about being an attorney just isn’t true.
I started my career working for one of the best law firms in the country (Munger, Tolles and Olson - Charlie Munger’s firm).?
I learned so much…and yet I was miserable, and quite certain I had made a mistake going to law school.
What’s worse, I wasn’t even helping in the ways I thought I would when I went to law school.
Law school teaches you how to think about the law, but it doesn’t teach you anything about building a business with your law degree.?
And that’s why I created New Law Business Model.?
The NewLaw Podcast for Entrepreneurial Lawyers is about turning your law degree into your most valuable asset–your key to creating a life that truly resonates with who you are and why you got into law in the first place.
