Introducing a new social work podcast

I am thrilled to join the world of podcasting.

"Do-gooder" has become such a putdown. I want to reclaim the notion of "doing good" as a worthwhile!

The first episode is an in depth interview with Josie McSkimming, clinical social worker in private practice, and adjunct lecturer at UNSW. We talk about her doctorate, more recently converted into a book, available on Amazon- Leaving Christian Fundamentalism and the Reconstruction of Identity

You can stream it straight from my blog, (click on the image above) or find it on the iPhone podcast app- search for my name or the title - just another do gooder.

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in this podcast with Vittorio. He is an extremely able & knowledgeable interviewer. Hope others will find listening to the conversation as interesting as I did participating in it!

Very interesting discussion. Links in well with disconnection from community felt by those who live their lives on social media.
